How To Take Your Measurements
Accurate measurements are required for the optimal fit. Follow these procedures to properly measure yourself:
Step 1: Bust
Wrap a measuring tape around the largest area of your bust. Ensure that the tape is level and snug, but not too tight. Keep a record of this measurement.
Step 2: Waist
Stand straight and measure around the narrowest region of your waist, which is usually right above the belly button. Keep the tape snug and level, then record the measurement.
Step 3: Hips
While standing straight, wrap the measuring tape around the broadest area of your hips, which is usually the hip bones. Make sure the tape runs parallel to the ground and fits snugly but comfortably. Keep a record of this measurement.
Step 4: Torso
This is required for one-piece swimsuits. Sit on a chair with a straight back and feet flat on the ground. Begin by inserting the measuring tape in the center of your shoulder blades and extending it down to the base of your crotch. Keep a record of this length. This is required for one-piece swimsuits.
It is critical to thoroughly measure oneself to ensure the best fit. If you have any questions, please contact us for assistance, or schedule a fitting with our skilled in-house tailor.
